Where 2 Or More Gather: Petals of HOPE is a faith & community-based grassroots nonprofit that serves children and teen victims of human trafficking and young adult survivors of abuse.

Did You Know?
San Diego County is one of the most active regions for child trafficking in the United States. Recent estimates reveal that around 3,500 children and adults are trafficked each year in the county. Local traffickers often recruit and groom children as young as 8, utilizing schools, social media, and online gaming platforms for recruitment. These activities contribute to an illegal sex economy worth nearly $1 billion annually within the San Diego area. Notably, a majority (approximately 80%) of trafficked individuals in San Diego are U.S.-born residents, challenging the misconception that trafficking predominantly affects foreign-born individuals. San Diego lacks dedicated trauma-informed housing options specifically licensed to serve child survivors of human trafficking, highlighting an urgent gap in care for these youth, and lacks specialized shelter options uniquely designed for trafficking survivors.

Are you an artist, crafter, or maker with a heart for giving back? Join Called to Create: Artisans of Hope and make a lasting impact by teaching a creative workshop at our Flower Boutique & Café. Your class fees will directly support the build of our much-needed Petals of Hope CRISIS Sanctuary in San Diego—a place of healing, faith, and hope for survivors of trafficking and abuse.

At W2OMG, Petals of Hope Creative Retreat Sanctuary provides a nurturing creative space for healing, growth, and empowerment. Through our unique programs, we offer birthday parties, milestone celebrations, creative workshops and retreats designed to inspired, uplift and bring joy to teen trafficked victims and young adult survivors of abuse living in our Petals of Hope Coalition Safe Houses throughout California and Mexico.
